Looking Back

A few more days from now, it will be 2 years ever since I came over to KL. A lot of things had happened in this short period of time. I've met new friends and got so much closer to those whom I had never spoken to before I left Kuching. Some, that were so close to me had become merely just  'somebody that I used to know'.

I'm very grateful that a few of my friends from Empowered went to Sunway College to further their studies. Some of them are those whom I'd never spoken to before leaving Kuching. These are the people that eventually became my second family over in KL. Unlike the other foundation courses, you get to hang out with your classmates whole day long and eventually they become your buddies. However, I took CFAB which stands for Certificate In Finance, Accounting and Business. My classes are quite flexible and we do not have a fixed schedule for it. The people in my class are pretty quiet and we hardly talked because the classes are long. Eventually, I've grown closer to my Empowered friends and I praise God for them.

Happy Birthday Small Chow!

This picture was taken when we went to Chillis's @ Empire Mall for Julie's birthday last year. Julie is the one wearing white from the left, then it is Sophia, Tracy, Bryan , Me, Kristen and Evelyn. Oh ya, I know it is kinda early, but Blessed Birthday Ju!! Must come back in Dec, we still haven't go kong piah yet. Ok, let's get back on track. Most of them had left Sunway by now, the only ones left are Kris and I. Despite that, all of us still keep in touch and I do hope that we will still do so in future.

Moving on, it's been a year and a half since I went to Taipei with Russ, Ah Choong and Gary. It was my first time travelling overseas on my own. The only time I went out of Malaysia was with my family when I was a baby. The experience was awesome! I want to go Taiwan again and travel the whole island. Heh.

This was taken when we were walking towards Taipei 101 to join the 100th Independence Day of Taiwan. The fireworks were breathtaking! Ah Choong! Where thou art?!! Come baccckkkk.. Wait, you came for my house for bbq just two weeks ago. Did I tell you that we celebrated our new year eve watching the fireworks outside Taipei 101? Four of us were sitting on the ground while joining the rest of the people counting down to the year 2011. It was Legen.....wait for it..... wait for it.......................................DARY! hahhahaa... Sorry, I just had to do that.

Last year's new year eve celebration was kinda simple. Russ, Angie, Ian, Jian Ping and I went to a bar called Singgahsana. We were just chilling out that night. The town was kinda clear as most people were gathered around The Spring to watch the fireworks. Well, I have to tell you, Angie gets tipsy very fast! hahahhaa..

Angie's tipsy shot (She was freakishly nice after getting tipsy, hahahhahahha)

I don't know what happen here.......

Say cheese!

All in all, it was a great night. Sometimes, you don't need to have fancy things to celebrate a new year eve. You just need a great company and that matters most. Cheers to friendship and many more years to come!

I guess that's all for the first post. Hope you enjoyed it ! Good night peeps! I need to send my car for servicing tomorrow morning. My perodua SLK is giving me headaches! =S
